I finally got back out today and about daylight I found where a female and two juveniles had crossed the road. Snow is still knee deep with a crunch layer. It's to soft for the dogs to run on without falling through which wears a dog out. I dumped the box and they took it fast . After 10 minutes I heard the jump and then a tree, followed by a long locate by Dangit and then trailing again. After another 15 minutes they were treed again. I took off for them and halfway there my snowshoes broke. I took them off and continued on, but now the snow is taking its toll on me, hahaha. Upon arriving I could see it just a nice juvenile and I'll bet the Female jumped up right after the jump. I decided to walk that way and see if the pups would pick her up. The old bluetick and Sherlock started winding down the hill and they decided to investigate . Once out of eye sight Sherlock opened up and all dogs went to him. They ran it another 800 yards and treed. After making to them and hooting it up we went back to the truck, and now my butt is kicked and enjoying sitting here at home eating trail mix.
